Mac N' Cheese Pizza

PB&J...Cereal & Milk...Philadelphia Sports Teams & Heartbreak. All of these things are meant for each other. I believe there exists many undiscovered bonds that are craving for your attention. I received a random request from a family member. Maybe it was more of a demand. I received the tweet/demand from @RegalMinded and I was more than happy to oblige.

Mac N' Cheese Pizza. Yup. Really. It's true.

This one was interesting and very fun to make. I asked a ton of people a very important question. Would you prefer mac n cheese with BBQ sauce or tomato sauce? (if you had to pick!) Remarkably, the vote was split 50/50. There were also a few other requests. My friend Terry requested buffalo ranch sauce. So...my indecisiveness led to this. How about I include it all!

One pizza..four sauces. Everyone is happy! Now of course, if you don't think you will like one of the sauces, making a substitute is easy. Speaking of easy...THIS IS THE MOST SIMPLISTIC RECIPE I HAVE POSTED...but it's still DEEEEEEEELICIOUS.




Where to start!?



Mac N Cheese Pizza


Ingredients

1 roll Pilsbury thin crust
3/4 cup Macranoi Noodles
1 cup Cheddar Cheese - shredded
1 cup Mozerella Cheese - shredded
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
3 Tablespoons Roasted Tomatoes
4 Tablespoons Fresh Basil

Sauces

Ranch & Hot Sauce
2 Tablespoons Ranch Dressing
¼ cup Hot Sauce
Pesto Sauce
2 Tablespoons Pesto Sauce
BBQ Sauce
2 Tablespoons BBQ Sauce
Tomato Sauce
2 Tablespoons Tomato Sauce





Directions

1.     Bring ½ quart of water to a boil in a medium sized pot.
2.     Boil the macaroni noodles according to package instructions.
3.     Drain almost all of the water in the pot and set the noodles aside.
4.     Grease a large baking sheet.
5.     Unroll the Pillsbury crust onto the sheet    
6.     Preheat oven to 400.
7.     Bake the crust for 5 minutes.
8.     Take the crust out the oven and brush the olive oil on the entire surface.
9.     In 4 small bowls, prepare each sauce
10.  With a tablespoon, gently spoon each sauce across the crust. Create two lines per sauce
11. Add 2 tablespoons of fresh basil across the tomato sauce lines.
12. Add 2 tablespoons of fresh basil across the ranch & hot sauce lines.
13. Add 2 tablespoons roasted tomatoes across the pesto lines.
14. In between all of the lines, add the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
15. Add the cooked macaroni noodles across the entire pizza.
16. Bake for 10 minutes.
