Bacon Wrapped Pork Chops

If you love pork (especially when it's called bacon)...

Bacon Wrapped Boneless Pork Chops


2 – 1inch thick boneless Pork Chops
4 strips of Bacon (not too thick)
1 tablespoon Ground Pepper
1 tablespoon Kosher Salt
1 tablespoon Thyme
1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
4 toothpicks (non-colored)      


1.    Preheat oven to 375
2.    Heat a medium sized skillet over medium low heat
3.    Cook the bacon on skillet until it is done about halfway
4.    Put aside and let cool
5.    Season pork chops with pepper, salt, thyme, garlic powder, and brown sugar
6.    Once bacon is completely cool, wrap 2 strips of bacon around each pork chop
7.    Run a tooth pick through each strip and the pork chop
8.    Place the pork chops in a greased baking sheet and cook for 30-35 minutes. (Halfway through cooking, take out the toothpick and flip the pork chop and then finish baking)
9.    If the bacon isn’t completely cooked, set oven to broil for 5 minutes per side
